Pouya Pouramin and Saba Poyeshman moved to Hvitsten

and Hvitsten Art Haven in May, for a safe artistic residency. One of their projects is the dramatization of Pouramins album, Prison episodes, born out of the experiences of political prisoners in Iran.

Ahmed Alghariz is a Palestinian break dancer, trauma and emergency educator and counselor. Ahmed runs a break dancing school for children in Gaza, and is now living in Germany.

Together with Ingrid Fadnes they will talk about how they have created space for artistic expressions where there is none, how art can live under conditions of imprisonment and war, and how the work for artistic freedom of expression that they do away from their local context can create change.
